Buhari and osinbanjo lied abt asset says PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to release copies of their assets declaration forms submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau for proper verification claiming that yesterday’s declaration was just a “a deceptive window-dressing to hoodwink unsuspecting Nigerians”

President Buhari and his aforementioned Vice, yesterday fulfilled their campaign promises by declaring assets worth N30m and N94m respectively. The move has attracted widespread praise but the no 1 opposition party has refused to be drawn into that and have called on the no 1 and no 2 citizens to officially show documents to back those declarations

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, in a statement  made available to newsmen in Abuja on Friday said, “the release of a mere list of belongings by the president and his Vice falls short of credibility, transparency and anti-corruption standards as well as exposes the proclivity of the present administration for deception.”
